Partner John Kivett joined Walentine O’Toole in April of 2018. A native of Gretna, Nebraska, John received his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and his law degree from the University of Denver – Sturm College of Law, with a certificate in corporate and commercial law. After spending time in Colorado securing his law degree, John moved home to be closer to family and begin his law practice.
John’s undergraduate degree in business administration with a major in economics and minor in finance prepared him for his future in corporate and commercial law. He thrives on managing business-related, real estate and banking (transactional and litigation) legal matters. Along with his education and training, John’s complex problem solving skills and attention to detail help him provide clients with the personal care and attention they need. When not at work, John enjoys biking, tennis, golf and fishing.
