Steve Lydick is a member of Walentine O’Toole’s litigation practice group. He has experience in both Nebraska state and federal courts, handling pre-suit investigations and interviews, written discovery, depositions, pre-trial motion practice, dispositive motions, and trial support.

With a background in philosophy and mathematics, Steve approaches problems with analytical precision and practical judgment. Before entering the legal profession, he worked across a range of industries—including hospitality, entertainment, gaming, and federal student loan servicing—gaining broad, real-world insight. His diverse experience informs a service-focused approach and helps him distill complex issues into clear, actionable advice. He is particularly adept in fast-paced, high-variance environments where quick thinking and sound judgment are essential.
